At Design Packaging, we design and create a variety of packaging solutions. One type of packaging we provide is UN packaging; it allows people to distribute and transport difficult items such as batteries and other dangerous/hazardous products internationally and nationwide.
Firstly our design team will design and create a packaging solution that protects products inside during transportation against potential bumps or drops. After this process is complete, we send the sample off to get independently certified; in this process, the packaging goes through different tests to ensure that it passes the regulations needed to transport dangerous/hazardous goods. A test report is created and sent to a governing agency along with the required information.
The agency known as the Vehicle Certification Agency provides a number registered to the customer. This number allows the product to pass through shipping and distribution services. Once we receive the certification documents, it is processed through to start sending you; your packaging solutions.
